back to the real stuff. sometimes a painting has to go real wrong asking for a radical last resort: sandpaper and a new figure on top, to hide the wreck. the result tends to be a one-day painting which comes as a relief and is good as much for what it shows as for what it covers. echoes of my months in Jersey City, drawing and painting the dancers from the 4th floor, members of Armitage Gone!Dance here it's the amazing Megumi Eda and Isaac Kerr
