American Dream by Karole Armitage
A tour of the central philosophies and techniques of 20th Century American Dance set into motion by a traditional Native American Plains dance followed with choreography by Alvin Ailey, Karole Armitage, George Balanchine, William Forsythe, Martha Graham, and others.
Featuring New York City Ballet principle dancers Adrian Danchig-Waring and Teresa Reichlen, Alvin Ailey II, Movopolis, Armitage Gone! Dance, Yuskau Komoi, Luke Hickey, Calvin Bahe Smith, Jr., and the Accademia Nazionale di Danza di Roma.
