Beginning of My own style of dance

Halfway through my career I started to become more of a contemporary dancer and found that I wanted to do more things my own way. In fact when I look back, even in those ballerina days, I was always impatient to do something out of the mold. This photo was just then, when I was 26 years old. I was passionately making solo work with a young choreographer, Troy Mundy after my regular dance job hours at the Dutch National Ballet. Gradually, my own style of dance began to emerge.
